Description of problem: tps-rpmtest for nss-pam-ldapd advisories is failing due to non-zero exit status from rpm -V nss-pam-ldapd (S.5....T. c /etc/nslcd.conf) which is caused by changes in the configuration file nslcd.conf done during the post install phase. These changes are valid and we want them. But at the same time we should indicate in %verify in the specfile that we do not care about mTime, size and md5 hash of the configuration file in order to ensure that tps-rpmtest will pass in the future. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): nss-pam-ldapd-0.7.5-5.el6 How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install nss-pam-ldapd. 2. rpm -v nss-pam-ldapd Actual results: Non-zero exit status. Expected results: Zero exist status (success). Additional info: # rpm -V nss-pam-ldapd S.5....T. c /etc/nslcd.conf
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: Verifying the nss-pam-ldapd package (by executing the "rpm --verify nss-pam-ldapd" command) failed in the /etc/nslcd.conf file due to changes in that configuration file performed after the installation of the package. With this update, post-installation changes in the /etc/nslcd.conf file no longer affect the verification of the nss-pam-ldapd package.
