Description of problem: IANA has recently allocated MIME type application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap for use by files created via libpcap (ie: written by tcpdump, wireshark, snort, etc). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.1.37-1 How reproducible: fgrep application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap /etc/mime.types Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap is not in /etc/mime.types Expected results: application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap is in /etc/mime.types, with a line like: application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap pcap cap Additional info: IANA allocation is at http://www.iana.org/assignments/media-types/application/vnd.tcpdump.pcap Debian bug 620372.
