Description john.r.fastabend 2011-04-03 20:50:44 UTC
The BZ below added support X540 devices. Unfortunately, there are two issues with regards to DCB support on these devices. First PFC is not correctly configured resulting in received PFC frames being ignored. Second the packet buffer size is incorrectly configured potentially resulting in a hung DMA engine.

I am currently pushing fixes upstream for these. I'll attach commits here as soon as they are pulled into net-2.6.

Thanks,
John.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2011-04-04 02:50:51 UTC
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
