Description of problem: If a ipa replica becomes unavailable, or otherwise offline, I am unable to delete that replica from the domain Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ipa-server-2.0.0-18.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install a ipa server 2. set up a replica server 3. ensure that the domain contains the two replicas with ipa-replica-manage --list 4. power off the replica. 5. ipa-replica manage del <replica> Actual results: [root@ipaqa64vma ~]# ipa-replica-manage del ipaqa64vmb.testrelm Unable to delete replica ipaqa64vmb.testrelm: {'desc': "Can't contact LDAP server"} Expected results: Messages like, "Unable to contact replica, remove anyway? yes/(no)
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
If the remote replica is not available use the --force flag.
