Created attachment 490355 [details] Xorg.0.log just after hanging Description of problem: Since updating to Fedora 15, vlc causes X to go into an infinite loop, rendering the machine virtually unusable unless I log in over ssh and kill everything. BTW this machine used to be able to play videos just fine using Fedora 14.

I have just updated to the latest Fedora 15 + updates, and this problem no longer manifests itself. I don't know what actually fixed it.
