Launch virt-manager: #virt-manager. 2. Click Edit->Preference on Virtual Machine Manager window. 3. Click Feedback tab on Preference window. 4. Enable Pause. Close Preference. 5. Open a running VM details window, click Pause button on toolbar 6. There is a pop up window ask for confirmation, click "No" Actual results: the pause button on toolbar is still on checked status. There have been a few fixes upstream that should solve this problem.
