Description of problem: if I try to create profile with ::1 ip, 64 prefix and ::1 gateway it allows me to press apply but then it disappears from connection view Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): NetworkManager-0.8.1-8.el6 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.go into nm-c-e and click add to add new profile 2.go into ipv6 tab and enter ::1, 64, ::1 into address fields 3.press apply Actual results: no profile in nm-c-e Expected results: profile should be store Additional info: I cannot see the profile via nmcli con list user I can create this using x86 machine
The error is caused by using freed memory (when reading IPv6 gateway value). It works on x86, because the memory is not altered in between (good or bad luck?) Anyway, that's already fixed upstream: ee08b7f875866f3fa35a2c621eeac3777ee27685 (0.8.x)

The code has been modified to prevent this issue and connection profiles are now stored correctly.
