Description James 2011-04-18 21:32:59 UTC
Description of problem:
I cannot get Caribou (the default GNOME 3 on-screen keyboard) to send Ctrl+key combinations (e.g., Ctrl+D to log out of a terminal). The Ctrl key stays "pressed" and it just seems to send an ordinary d.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
caribou-0.2.00-1.fc15.noarch

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable on-screen keyboard in GNOME 3 preferences.
2. Click in a terminal window.
3. Tap Ctrl then D.

Actual results:
d appears in terminal.

Expected results:
Ctrl+D sent.

Well now there's no Ctrl key at all in the Gnome 3.2 OSK...

Comment 2 Parag Nemade 2011-12-01 09:39:45 UTC
Report this problem in upstream as well. I am trying to contact upstream author for caribou problems but unable to get reply from him.

I am closing this as I can't fix this as upstream first need to fix this issue.
