From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) Description of problem: Hi, Is it possible to install RedHat 6.2 with 2.2.14-6.1.1 kernel on Pentium 4 machines Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Every time when trying to install, it comes out while installing the packages 2. 3. Additional info:
It probably is possible with the updated install floppy that was made available for 6.2. It *very very* much is recommended to upgrade your kernel to the latest released erratum for 6.2 (2.2.19 based) immediately after installation as well. (Oh and is there a reason you use an ancient version and not something more recent like 7.3 ?)
To reproduce,, try to install Redhat 6.2 on P4 machine
Yes we know, that's why we made an update install floppy available
