Will this make it into Fedora 15?  There are security fixes to this version along with extra functionality that our organization needs.

I just built rdesktop 1.7.0 for rawhide (F16). I am not, however, a primary maintainer and I'll leave it up to them to decide whether it would be a good idea to backport it to F15.

Kenny, would you please state in this ticket for reference why you'd need rdesktop 1.7.0 in F15?

As for the security fix you mentioned, I also built a security update of rdesktop 1.6.0 for all current releases (F13, F14, and F15) and it's headed to updates-testing.
