Created attachment 493205 [details] screenshot of wide pager Description of problem: Due to bug 531318, my system comes up in a dual-monitor configuration even with the laptop lid closed. To work around this, immediately after logging in, I run xrandr --fb 1920x1080 --output LVDS1 --off --output VGA1 --mode 1920x1080 However, the Xfce pager still shows really wide displays as if both monitors are enabled. If I drag a window over to the far edge of my display, the pager shows that window near the middle of the display. See the attached screenshot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): libwnck-2.30.4-3.fc15 xfce4-panel-4.8.3-1.fc15 How reproducible: every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. login to Xfce with dual-monitors 2. disable one monitor using xrandr, for example xrandr --fb 1920x1080 --output LVDS1 --off --output VGA1 --mode 1920x1080 Actual results: the pager still shows wide displays from the dual monitors Expected results: the pager resizes to reflect the new monitor setup

Please add drm.debug=0x04 to the kernel command line, restart computer, and attach * your X server config file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf, if available), * X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.*.log), * output of xrandr --query --verbose, * output of the dmesg command, and * system log (/var/log/messages) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the bugzilla file attachment link above. FWIW, KDE correctly resizes its pager to reflect the new smaller desktop area.
