Where's the traceback?
(In reply to comment #1) > Where's the traceback? I cannot include the full traceback because Toshiba 650D laptop froze before I had the chance to do so. All I could see on screen is CPU stuck on 67 sec.
I found a similar topic which detailed the issue: http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/install-boot-login/458126-11-4-freezes-during-automatic-configuration.html My case is with any Fedora 15 beta media.
It looks like another upstream bug for Toshiba Satellite 15.6" AMD E350 Laptop (C650D-008) (newer model). Not sure if that workaround worked on https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14679 after researching similar bug as read on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/612341
Latest kernel update fixed the freeze issue.
Reopening bug because the freezing log in issue return on Fedora 16 Alpha.
Apparently the freeze issue is related to wireless network driver. Wired network works fine.
Further investigation revealed RTL8192 wireless driver is the culprit behind the sudden freeze of desktop on Satelitte C650D-007.
Closing this bug now that kernel 3.x.x. appears to fix the freeze issue.
