I'm not sure additional bug reports are needed... According to what I've read, Telepathy-butterfly will probably be dropped on Fedora 17, to be replaced by Telepathy-haze for now and later by MSN's network [basic] XMPP support. See http://blogs.gnome.org/danni/2011/11/17/let-us-not-mourn-telepathy-python/ for more info, including a Gnome bug number related to the migration.
