Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): upstart-sysvinit-0.6.5-10.fc14.i686

In 25-50% of cases when I shutdown my PC, the /sbin/init process interferes with shutdown by spinning HDD up *again* *after* it has been stopped.
