Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2011:0540 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE redhat-release enhancement update for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.1 2011-05-18 17:44:50 UTC

Description Justin Ross 2011-04-26 20:41:56 UTC
Created attachment 495035 [details]
Example comps changes

The ruby-qpid package was inadvertently included in rhel 6.0. We can't undo that, but we should take it out of our comps groups.

Just as an informational supplement to the request, I've attached a diff against files in the comps module.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2011-04-26 20:57:36 UTC
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated
in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to
address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to
ask your support representative to propose this request, if
appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an
exception in the current release, please ask your support
representative.

Comment 3 Dennis Gregorovic 2011-04-26 21:12:28 UTC
Just to confirm - you're ok with leaving it in the product, but just want to remove it from comps. Is that correct?

Comment 4 Justin Ross 2011-04-26 21:20:46 UTC
Yes, that's correct.

Comment 5 Justin Ross 2011-04-26 21:50:14 UTC

ruby-qpid is not listed in comps (only ruby-qpid-qmf is).

Comment 11 Justin Ross 2011-04-28 14:30:02 UTC
Just to avoid any confusion:

ruby-qpid should be gone from comps
  ruby-qpid-qmf should remain in comps

Thanks!
