Hi Ancantus, Antoine -- could you please attach the hs_err_pid* files from the crash? They should be in the directory from which you started the application. Thanks.
Created attachment 497418 [details] hs_err_pid file I have quite a few hs_err_pid files (I clean them regularly), the file timestamp on this one seems to match the bug report.

Thanks! Do you happen to have the corresponding stack trace by any chance? The trace posted in the original bug seems to originate from libz, but the hs_err you posted seems entirely contained in libjvm.
Sorry, I can't find anything else in abrt and there are no other files created around that time. I've also looked through .xsession-errors, nothing there either.
I assume you did the original report via ABRT? I guess it attaches the trace only once. I haven't used abrt in a while, but I believe it provides an option to see what it is about to submit.. if/when the crash happens again, can you attach that trace then please?
Created attachment 497425 [details] backtrace shown in abrt-gui As requested, the backtrace found in abrt
Thanks. Is there anything specific that triggers this error?
Not really, like I said, it crashes fairly regularly. If anything, but this is just a guess and may not have anything to do with reality, it could be the clipboard or something else that the application monitors in the background? Because on more than one occasion, eclipse was minimized and I was busy doing something else... yet, it doesn't seem to be random.

Hi, could everyone who is encountering this please attach the abrt backtraces if you have them available? The non-reproducibility of this issue on my end is turning out of be quite the hindrance. It is more than likely that abrt is just assigning the crashes to this issue incorrectly and I would like to confirm if that is true or not.

It seems like ABRT is just stacking bugs on to this one without sending any more traces. I am going to close this with the hope that future such bugs get opened as new and have traces attached.
Removing abrt hash so that abrt will open new bugs instead.
