I suspect you have an Optimus laptop, in which case, unless you have a BIOS switch to enable the use of the NVIDIA card only, you're out of luck for the moment.

This isn't a nouveau bug in any case, we're getting passed control of a disabled cards.

yes,this is ASUS-N53SN i7 2630QM && Nvidia GT550M Cuda 2GB

Bureaucratic nitpicking ... what should I do with this bug then? Just pass it to you? Is there some diaper changing which needs to be done yet?

According to Dave it's caused by some kind of fun race in the kernel, I'll reassign to him as he may have some idea of what he wants done with it :)
