Run Rhythmbox - no sound prouced 2. Test speakers on sound menu does not generate sound 3. Actual results: Neither 1 or 2 generate sounds Expected results: Sound being heard Additional info:
Was able to restore sound by re-installing via yum both alsa and pulseaudio packages. Still believe there is an issue in fedora 15 in the "Sounds Settings" test speakers functionality since I was previously, but not now, able to get audio out of the speakers when running "test speakers". Since I can hear music via Rhythmbox, I doubt this bug is related to the kernel so I'm going to close the bug report.
