Description of problem:
Rpmdiff shows testsuite regression that should be fixed in the code or -fno-strict-aliasing should be added.

RPMdiff testsuite regressions

No RPMdiff testsuite regressions

THis is not an regression

As you said, it's not a regression. I don't have an urge to try to fix this
in RHEL-5 at this point, as the package has basically behaved as expected,
just that gcc raises more errors like this now.
Since the package is not in RHEL-6 and there is little use beside OpenOffice,
I doubt chasing the issue and making an errata over it is worth the time,
