Description Aleš Mareček 2011-05-05 14:29:42 UTC
Description of problem:
There is a tool called gem2rpm in Developer Guide, section Ruby - 3.3.9. Ruby - 3.3.9.1. gem2rpm. The problem is that gem2rpm is not present in RHEL-6.1 but documentation doesn't speak about it. This can be confusing for users who would search for this tool. There is also a reference to Fedora project: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Ruby#Ruby_Gems which is about work around and only on the bottom of that reference there is a link to gem2rpm project.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Revision 0-41

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Look for gem2rpm in Developer Guide

Actual results:
There is gem2rpm described but no direct reference to this EXTERNAL tool or note that says this tools is not in RHEL-6

Expected results:
Some note saying gem2rpm is not present in RHEL-6 and direct reference (http://rubyforge.org/projects/gem2rpm/) to gem2rpm tool
