This is probably caused by an update of the underlying qt or kde libs since the eric rpm itself hasn't been updated since i installed F14. (my 5 cents)

I blind rebuild and update of the rpm to version 4.4.13 seems to fix the problem.

How to reproduce
-----
1. Start eric
2. Try to do anything that should give a dialog box, for instance Open or Save As
3. Eric segfaults.

Eric now works as it should.
