Description Shikha 2011-05-09 05:44:04 UTC
Description of problem:
Change the Brew Description Summary

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
39.31.5.1

Actual results:
The description summary in brew is : Bug 694078-This package contains the firmware required by the iwlagn driver for Linux to support the iwl100 hardware. Usage of the firmware is subject to the terms and conditions contained inside the provided LICENSE file. Please read it carefully.

Expected results:
This package contains the firmware required by the iwlagn driver for Linux to support the iwl100 hardware. The firmware for the Crane Peak 1(100) Wifi network adaptor was not included with its driver (iwlagn) in the RHEL6.1 beta release. The firmware is now included with the driver in RHEL6.1 Beta Snapshot 4, kernel version 2.6.32-131.0.1 and later. (BZ#694078) All users requiring iwlagn should install this new package, which adds this enhancement.

Comment 2 RHEL Program Management 2011-05-09 06:00:41 UTC
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Comment 3 John W. Linville 2011-05-10 13:59:04 UTC
I have no idea what you are talking about. The description in brew is straight from the rpm header, and it makes no reference to a bug number (as it should not).

What you seem to be intending with your wording is a change to an errata. In that case, feel free to suggest the change in the errata tool, or even to make it yourself there. In any case, bugzilla is not the place for such discussions.
