Description Kris Urquhart 2002-07-31 20:25:56 EDT
Description of problem:
While installing packages during a limbo2 install, the "Total Time" estimated
was far from constant. Here were the values at different stages:
1% 2:00
33% 10:00
40% 11:00
80% 12:00
100% 12:37

While I understand that the early values are hard to calculate, I seems like it
should have settled down before 50%.

As more packages installed, things like running 'ldconfig -v' take longer and
longer. Its not a simple calculation.
