Description of problem: Cannot display qcow2 image size correctly when add storage hardware to guest Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): virt-manager-0.6.1-14.el5 xen-3.0.3-130.el5 kernel-xen-2.6.18-259.el5 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch virt-manager: #virt-manager 2.Open a guest's Virtual Machine Details window. 3.Click the Hardware tab. 4.Click Add Hardware button 5.Select Storage in Hardware type droplist and click Forward. 6.Select File(disk image) as Source, and click Browse to select a qcow2 image Actual results: the disk size is displayed as 0 MB. Actually the image's size is 100 MB. Expected results: the disk size should be displayed as 100 MB. Additional info:
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.7 and Red Hat does not plan to fix this issue the currently developed update. Contact your manager or support representative in case you need to escalate this bug.
Since this is pretty low impact, I don't think it's worth fixing at this point in the RHEL5 cycle. Closing as WONTFIX
