*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 704727 ***

Comment 2 Adam Williamson 2011-05-16 19:55:09 UTC
I don't believe this a dupe. 704727 is regarding an f14 upgrade to f15, and additionally seems to be an odd one because it's not using the f15 gnome-themes package, which does not conflict with gnome-themes-standard.

This bug is entirely internal to Rawhide, and appears to be genuine: as far as I can tell, these are the two latest builds available of both packages (until mclasen just pushed an update to fix this).

The files in conflict are also different.

Comment 3 Pete Zaitcev 2011-05-18 01:06:48 UTC
I'm open to anything necessary to resolve this, except blowing the system
away and reinstalling it. That is only because we do not run compositions
on Rawhide and I am concerned that it will not be possible to restore it
by a reinstall.

Comment 4 Pete Zaitcev 2011-06-08 02:47:46 UTC
It occured to me that that update was not entirely clean, it used
--skip-broken. It recall tinkering with this some ways, but to no avail.
See bug#711635.

Comment 5 Pete Zaitcev 2011-06-15 20:07:34 UTC
I'm sick the endless broken updates. Let someone who cares test this
stupid GNOME 3 garbage. rpm -e, bug closed.

Comment 6 Pete Zaitcev 2011-07-01 01:44:43 UTC
Just to teach me a lesson about being nasty in Bugzilla, someone rebuilt
the theme packages and gnome-shell, so everything installs now.

  gnome-desktop3.x86_64 0:3.1.2-1.fc16
  gnome-panel.x86_64 0:3.0.2-1.fc16
  gnome-panel-devel.x86_64 0:3.0.2-1.fc16
  gnome-panel-libs.x86_64 0:3.0.2-1.fc16
  gnome-screensaver.x86_64 0:3.0.0-2.fc16
  gnome-settings-daemon.x86_64 0:3.1.2-2.fc16
  gnome-themes-standard-3.1.2.1-1.fc16
  gnome-shell-3.0.2-4.fc16

Thanks a lot.
