generic-release should be updated to 15-1 with the same changes as fedora-release-15-1 (enable updates, disable updates-testing, change metadata_expire frequency). On the one hand, this seems kinda critical, but on the other hand, from the changelog, we didn't do it for f14, and for f13 generic-release was never updated from f12 at all. so we're pretty bad at it. =) still, i'm filing the bug and nominating it as a blocker for votes.
thinking about it, since it's not included on any media and only exists for people who want to customize fedora, it doesn't need to be a blocker. -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
