Can you reproduce this outside the specific environment where you found it? I tried unsuccessfully to reproduce it using the following: $ mkdir foo $ echo foo > foo/a.php $ touch foo/b.php $ rpl -x .php -Ri foo bar foo Replacing "foo" with "bar" (ignoring case) (partial words matched) .. A Total of 0 matches replaced in 2 files searched. (rpl-1.5.5-5.fc17.noarch)
