Description joshua 2011-05-17 03:54:45 UTC
Description of problem:

To define a VM to use libvirt, /usr/share/cluster/vm.sh wants to see a use_virsh variable set to "1". However, this can't be done from the luci config... there seems to be no input in the Web UI that correlates to this.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

RHEL 6.0 HA Cluster

Comment 2 Lon Hohberger 2011-05-17 18:31:22 UTC
use_virsh defaults to 1 on RHEL6; please run the following (substitute vm-name for the VM you're having trouble with):

clusvcadm -d vm:vm-name
rg_test test /etc/cluster/cluster.conf start vm vm-name
rg_test test /etc/cluster/cluster.conf stop vm vm-name

... and paste the output in to bugzilla.

Comment 3 joshua 2011-05-25 22:11:59 UTC
I can't. I've upgraded them to RHEL 6.1, and I don't get the same error message this time.

What I got before was "xm not found" or something like that.

Comment 4 Lon Hohberger 2011-05-27 15:39:08 UTC
Ok; not sure what the issue was. Maybe luci was explicitly setting use_virsh to 0 in RHEL 6.0 and it was addressed in 6.1.
