Description of problem:

Scale performance on the web side might be helped significantly if we can cache parts of the chart generation process.  Investigate.

(09:01:30 AM) ernie: tmckay: croberts: the BZ is more general than caching charts, it should be for caching sql results. The cache would be used by tables as well as charts.

MRG-Grid is in maintenance and only customer escalations will be considered. This issue can be reopened if a customer escalation associated with it occurs.
