Description of problem: Search dialog for a table applies to a fixed column currently. It might be nice to be able to select the searchable column. For a really rich interface, we might consider and "and/or" mechanism across multiple columns.
This is available in revision 5451 on trunk.
Technical note added. If any revisions are required, please edit the "Technical Notes" field accordingly. All revisions will be proofread by the Engineering Content Services team. New Contents: The search column is now selectable on the Submission, Slot, Scheduler and Negotiator tabs. When a numeric column is chosen, a set of operators (=, <, <=, >, >=) will also be displayed to allow more useful filtering. For text columns, the search works just as it always has. That match is a "contains"...if an entry contains the text entered (case sensitive), it is returned in the result set.
Case INSENSITIVE is indeed the intended and current behavior. Sorry for any confusion.
I verified on RHEL5 and RHEL6, both i386 and x86_64, with cumin-0.1.5572-1 that the search column is now selectable and searching works properly.
