"cat /etc/issue" does not display correct information on RHEL5.7-Alpha. It shows the following:

# cat /etc/issue
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.6 (Tikanga)
Kernel \r on an \m

Whereas it should show something as:
# cat /etc/issue
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.7 (***)
Kernel \r on an \m

I have no idea why you think this is an anaconda bug.  We just lay down the files in the package.
