Description James M. Leddy 2011-05-20 13:41:17 UTC
Description of problem:

Manual page for ipcs documents the following OPTION:

-b Write information on maximum allowable size. (Maximum number of bytes in messages on queue for message queues, size of segments for shared memory, and number of semaphores in each set for semaphores.)

Actual results when running with this OPTION:

# ipcs -b
ipcs: invalid option -- b
usage : ipcs -asmq -tclup
ipcs [-s -m -q] -i id
ipcs -h for help.

CS feel very strongly that manual pages are as much part of a software package as the actual binary itself in an Enterprise product. Can this be raised as a bug with the package maintainer please?
