Description of problem: After using "pm-suspend" my system is not properly powering off. The monitor gets blank and I can hear at least one of my hdds spinning down. But the other one is still active. Also the numlock led is on (and hitting numlock has no effect). There is no additional output in /var/log/messages, pm-suspend.log is attached. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-PAE-2.6.38.6-27.fc15.i686 pm-utils-1.4.1-6.fc15.i686 How reproducible: (mostly) ever Steps to Reproduce: 1. pm-suspend Actual results: system starts suspend but it is not powering off Expected results: system suspends Additional info: - Sometimes the system suspends just fine (maybe one out of 10 tries). - http://www.smolts.org/client/show/?uuid=pub_3b2ab66b-71da-49a2-87d5-3db459af33a6 - I have one SSD (Corsair CSSD-F60GB2), 1 SATA-HDD (SAMSUNG HD103SJ) and 1 IDE-HDD (SAMSUNG SP1654N) - Obviously I don't know how to provide more information about this issue. So help here is really appreciated. :) Because there is no /var/log/dmesg.old anymore I cannot use http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/KernelCommonProblems#Suspend.2FResume_failure

Just upgraded from F13, and I believe I am also hitting this bug. http://www.smolts.org/client/show_all/pub_86d48dcf-f395-485c-9213-b5c881496d38
Is this still a problem with the 2.6.43/3.3 updates in F15/F16?
Can't speak for the OP, but I haven't had this bug in ages.
Thanks for responding. We'll close it out for now, as F15 is going EOL anyway. If this shows up again, please file a new bug.
