I wish Fedora would provide the B.A.T.M.A.N. advanced control and management tool required to control the batman-adv module available in linux 2.6.38 and 2.6.39. I've already found packages for other Distributions: * http://packages.qa.debian.org/b/batctl.html * https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/batctl * http://packages.gentoo.org/package/net-misc/batctl Fedora currently doesn't has the batman-adv module included in kernel-2.6.38.2-9.fc15.i686.rpm
We generally don't ship packages without willing maintainers. If you'd like to step up to maintain this code, we'll certainly take that. For more information on maintaining packages in Fedora, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join#OS_Developer. If you are not currently able to maintain the package, it will likely wait until someone is. Closing as DEFERRED, in the sense that we won't take the package yet without a maintainer.
CC'ing some people who may have a passing interest.
