Description of problem: The following snippet of gtkmm code crashes when executed in Fedora 14. #include <gtkmm.h> int main(int argc, char **argv) { Gtk::Main m(argc, argv); Gtk::Window *_dummy_window= new Gtk::Window(Gtk::WINDOW_TOPLEVEL); Gtk::TreeView dummy_treeview; _dummy_window->add(dummy_treeview); dummy_treeview.show(); Gdk::Color _sys_selection_color= Gtk::RC::get_style(dummy_treeview)->get_bg(Gtk::STATE_SELECTED); Gtk::FileChooserDialog dlg("HELLO"); dlg.run(); return 0; } There is nothing technically wrong with the code. The same code works perfectly in Ubuntu 10.10, which also ships gtk 2.22.0 But in Fedora, that code will crash when the dialog is being shown, somewhere deep inside gtk. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.22 How reproducible: Every time Steps to Reproduce: 1. cat snippet_above > crash.cc 2. g++ crash.cc `pkg-config gtkmm-2.4 --cflags --libs` 3. ./a.out Actual results: crash Expected results: a file dialog should pop up.
