Patch to add RHEL6 support

Description of problem:
When I run the check_updates script the following is output:

# /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_updates
CHECK_UPDATES UNKNOWN - unknown Linux distribution



Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
nagios-plugins-check-updates-1.4.11-1.el6.x86_64

How reproducible:
Install and run on RHEL6

I'm attaching a patch that fixes this.

I'll also report this upstream.  Meanwhile, could you also attach a copy of an  RHEL6 /etc/issue file?

Tomas,

Upstream has just released check_updates 1.4.12.  This new release includes a modified version of the patch that I have sent yesterday to the author regarding RHEL6 (and SL) support.

Upstream released version 1.4.13 due to a EPEL5 build problem I reported.

New EPEL6 build:

Package nagios-plugins-check-updates-1.4.12-1.el6:
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing nagios-plugins-check-updates-1.4.12-1.el6'
as soon as you are able to.

nagios-plugins-check-updates-1.4.14-1.el6 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 stable repository.  If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.

Closing this ticket as the initial problem was solved for RHEL6. The new problem must be handled in a new ticket.
