Comment 1 Jirka Klimes 2011-05-26 09:45:28 UTC
For displaying active connection use:
$ nmcli con status

Please, check that you see the active connection by:
$ dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get string:org.freedesktop.NetworkManager string:ActiveConnections

'nmcli con list' lists all configured connections known to NetworkManager.

Hi,

  thanks , but I don't have this key in dbus.
I forgot to specify I use KDE and kde-plasma-networkmanagement-0.9-0.47.20110323.fc15.x86_64.

Laurent

Comment 3 Laurent Le Grandois 2011-05-26 11:08:36 UTC
Sorry,
  correction :

 dbus-send --system --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.NetworkManager /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get string:org.freedesktop.NetworkManager string:ActiveConnections
method return sender=:1.1 -> dest=:1.83 reply_serial=2
   variant       array [
         object path "/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/0"
      ]

Comment 4 Laurent Le Grandois 2011-05-31 20:33:26 UTC
Hi,

   problem seems to be incompatibility between NM 0.0 and kde-plasma-networkmanagement as nmcli display connections created with nm-applet.

Comment 5 Laurent Le Grandois 2011-06-03 12:13:21 UTC
Hi,

  seems to be solved with kde-plasma-networkmanagement-0.9-0.50.20110601git.nm09.fc15
