Description of problem: I am trying to install Fedora 15 from DVD media. Installer hangs and says something like: cannot connect with repository I switched with ctrl+alt+F2 on another console and there is error: Notice dbus-daemon: [system] Activating service name= org.freedesktop.ModemManager I checked dvd with md5 sum and its correct. also there was another error with with /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/00-netreport this script cant find /etc/init.d/functions file. I dont know why its searching for init.d and not for system.d Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Fedora 15 dvd installer 2. after format, check necessary packages (gnome etc) 3. and click next Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
That error message may or may not have anything to do with it. Please attach /tmp/anaconda.log and /tmp/syslog to this bug report. Thanks.
sorry, this was a hdd problem. Fedora has no bug. sorry.
