Please verify you can log in manually:

> fence_ilo -a <agent IP> -l <user> -p <password> -o status

Also, is the fence-agents rpm installed on the server?

Thanks!

Greg

Fence-agents-3.0.12-23.el6.x86_64 is installed on the remote test server. No fencing agents are installed on the sut.

The manual login attempt gives me the same "Unable to connect/login to fencing device".

Thanks.

And I have confirmed that the login credentials being used for the test work when logging into ilo via the web browser.

Hi Gregg,

If manual login doesn't work either I would guess this to be a fence-agent bug?

I don't see ilo specifically mentioned in the changelogs of more recent builds however it looks like this package was rebased in Jun/Jul. I don't recall any v7 changes to the fence test in 1.4 however these changes may allow 6.1+errata and/or 6.2 beta to work presuming the issue was in the agent package.

Hi Gregg,

Any luck with testing the GA's of RHEL6.2 + v7-1.4 for this issue?

Comment 6 Gregg Shick 2011-12-12 16:19:32 UTC
Let me give it a try.
