Description of problem: Authentication failure, unable to log in Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 15 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.boot 2.log in 3. Actual results: Authentication failure, gdm panel reappears Expected results: successful log in Additional info: Installed as upgrade from Fedora 14 to Fedora 15 from DVD. On reboot, the gdm panel (I think) that says Fedora release 15 appears. It contains my previous account label as expected. But fails to accept password.

Hello Rex, Per your email I will go ahead and close this ticket out. Your clean install seemed to solve the issue. However without proper logs and empirical evidence that this was a gdm bug (and not a symptom of say pam malfunctioning), I will go ahead and close this ticket out at this time.
