I have the same issue on Lenovo W510 notebook, though on F16. And I don't have to go as high as 100%, starts around 93-95%. $ lspci|grep -i audio 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset High Definition Audio (rev 06) 01:00.1 Audio device: nVidia Corporation High Definition Audio Controller (rev a1)
I have the same problem. But the distortion start in 60%. Pulse audio move PCM over 0 db. For this reason.
