Created attachment 502993 [details] disk utility error creating partition Description of problem: I have a spare disk which a want to use. As a normal user a used disk utility to mount the disk. When trying to copy data to it I get a access denied. As the disk was empty (formatted as ext4) I used disk utility to umount the device, delete the current partition (succeeded) and create a new partition also taking ownership. Creating the partition fails with no details. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-disk-utility-nautilus-3.0.0-2.fc15.x86_64 gnome-disk-utility-ui-libs-3.0.0-2.fc15.x86_64 gnome-disk-utility-libs-3.0.0-2.fc15.x86_64 gnome-disk-utility-3.0.0-2.fc15.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create new partition on empty disk 2. 3. Actual results: creation fails, no useful error message Expected results: creation succeeds with the correct ownership. Additional info: I just switched to F15 today and used the disk utility today under F14 without any problems.
