Need to integrate the kbase article "How do I disable the cluster software on a member system in Red Hat Enterprise Linux?" into official product docs. Link to kbase article: https://access.redhat.com/kb/docs/DOC-5695
This information (reviewed for the 6.1 release) is already here: http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Cluster_Administration/ch-mgmt-cli-CA.html#s2-admin-stop-cli-CA There seem to be some things in the kbase article that did not make it to this section, so I'm not yet closing this bug until I can verify why, but basically this has already been addressed. Reassigning to me.
Moving to 6.3, as per the version field.
I've looked over the kBase article more carefully, and I've looked over the information we currently provide in the Cluster Administration document, and I believe the information we already provide addresses this BZ. There are really two sections in the Cluster Admin document that address this. Section 8.1.2 describes how to stop the cluster software: http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Cluster_Administration/ch-mgmt-cli-CA.html#s2-admin-stop-cli-CA And section 8.2.1, which is much more extensive, describes the full procedure for removing a node from a cluster (with references to Section 8.1.2): http://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Cluster_Administration/s1-admin-manage-nodes-delete-add-cli-CA.html So looking this over again, I am closing this as CURRENT RELEASE.
