Description Joachim Backes 2011-06-16 05:55:11 UTC
Description of problem:
My box has no floppy drive, but after having installed grub2, I found in /boot/grub2/grub.cfg "--no-floppy" in each search cmd. These parameters are superfluous.

search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 4c27a317-74af-423d-bdfa-0d18cd07a651
	search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set 4c27a317-74af-423d-bdfa-0d18cd07a651

This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.

The --no-floppy do no harm. There is no reason to generate different config files depending on the current hardware.

IMHO it is WONTFIX in Fedora unless it is modified upstream. I suggest you try to contribute a patch upstream.
