Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: The guide contains diagrams from RHEL 4. Please update the diagrams to the current ones. The steps mentioned are not the same as happens in real way. There are lots of errors and as a result, I could not configure PXE server in Fedora 15. Expected results: The guide should be incomplete and error free and updated. Additional info:

Hi Amitakhya, Thanks for reporting this. Yes, the PXE section of the guide has needed work. I've added configuration instructions for BIOS and EFI systems, ready for F17, which you can view in commit 616443c28d7d9f50ced4ae9484284089e5e27c31 The 'Adding PXE Hosts' section, with the old RHEL figures you mention, is clearly misplaced though. It's a mid-procedure GUI step in a section dominated by command line and config file tasks. http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/16/html/Installation_Guide/s1-netboot-add-hosts.html Peter, this section is not in the RHEL Installation Guide. Is it still required? If so, what can we provide instead? I assume it will involve the command line or modifying a config file. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated.
Peter Jones has confirmed that 'Adding PXE Hosts' can be removed, because the new configuration instructions cover the same ground. Consequently, section 13.5, 'Manually configure a PXE server', is ready for the F17 version of the guide.
