Description of problem: When downloading a file in firefox and the save to location runs out os space, you can no longer clisk on the cancel download button. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHEL 6 CSB Firefox 3.6.13 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Ensure that /home/user/Downloads is smaller than a file you can download with your browser. 2. Start downloading that file 3. When the space runs out you will get an error. 4. Close the dialog box for the error and go to the Downloads Window 5. Attempt to pause or cancel the download. Actual results: All buttons inside the download window are now disabled. You cannot stop the download. Even rebooting doesn't stop the download from attempting to continue. Expected results: If you know you do not have the space then you should have the option to click the cancel download button. Additional info:
Since RHEL 6.2 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as exception or blocker. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Firefox 3.6 is already replaced by Firefox 10.X line. Please retest and reopen if you still see it. But we're not going to fix it for RHEL anyway.
