Even though I have enabled software updates to be checked daily I get no notifications of new software updates, even when such do exist. I have to check manually.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora 15
2. Run the "Software updates" application
3. Set "Check for updates" to "daily"
4. Wait at least 24 hours.
  
Actual results:
No notification of new updates even though such exist if I manually run the "Software update" application (note: "update" instead of "updates")

Expected results:
A notification that tells me about new updates.
