Comment 1 Dave Jones 2011-06-27 17:06:02 UTC
Can you reproduce this without the proprietary module loaded ?

Comment 2 Kevin Brightwell 2011-06-29 12:59:11 UTC
I apologize, I do not know which module is proprietary. Is it Skype?

Comment 3 Dave Jones 2011-07-11 20:31:59 UTC
no idea. the lsmod output is missing from the report.

given you're blacklisting nouveau, I'm guessing you use the nvidia module ?
If so, it's that. (and memory corruption bugs wouldn't be anything new tbh)

Comment 4 Dave Jones 2011-08-15 22:36:41 UTC
Please try the 2.6.40 update, and see if this problem is still repeatable.
