Description Matej 2011-06-24 09:13:55 UTC
Description of problem: Sometimes immediately after the laptop wakes up from sleep, Gnome Shell becomes unresponsive. Mouse clicks and keyboard input would take several (5+) seconds before they are processed by the Shell in short bursts (this happens in every GUI application). Also, applications themselves get their UI updated in the same short bursts. Mouse movement, however, is entirely uninhibited. Most bizarrely, keyboard input in virtual terminals (tty) is totally okay.

2. Wake it up.
3. Go to step 1 if shell is not unresponsive.

Actual results: Extreme slugishness

Expected results: No slugishness.

I didn't observe this behaviour since ages. I am sorry, but I cannot provide additional information. It seems some update must have fixed this bug.
