Description Paul Vine 2011-06-24 16:59:15 UTC
Description of problem:
When clicking the mute or volume buttons the display with focus will show the proper mini window showing mute or volume change but the secondary window will show the desktop background as a hole through whatever app is up on that display. The "hole" will stay there until the app is redrawn.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-media-libs-2.29.91-6.el6.x86_64

How reproducible:
Not sure on exact steps as it seems to be some combination of which app has focus and which display the mouse is in.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have laptop with second external screen.
2. Have any apps on boths screens so background is not visible for the most part.
3. Click volume button with mouse on same screen as app with focus and then on other screen.
4. Switch mouse to other screen and click volume button again. It it doesn't appear click app in other window and repeat.

Actual results:
Background block appears as "hole" through running app in other screen in location where volume window is on the display where mouse is.

Expected results:
No background artifact.
